Austin Simmons leads Storagely into its largest platform release, 3.0.1, debuting September 8th-September 11th at the SSA Fall Conference & Trade Show.
The self storage industry has evolved since we entered the space. Operators are asking new questions, they have new pain points, and operations are changing. We had to ask ourselves, “If we had entered the storage industry now, with what we know, what type of product would we have built?” The answer to that question was vastly different from our current product. So, we decided to rebuild. Storagely 3.0.1 empowers operators to be flexible, move at a new pace, and gives them a competitive edge that this industry just hasn’t seen yet. It’s built for scale and solves problems operators are facing now, not what they were facing 5 years ago.
The Leadership Behind Our Next Era
This rebuild has a familiar face behind it. Austin Simmons, now our Chief Executive Officer as of April 2026 and previously our Chief Operating Officer, has been part of Storagely for nearly a decade, through the years before we entered self-storage and the work that shaped how the industry thinks about conversion. He has built 3.0.1 in close partnership with Storagely’s Founder and Executive Chairman, Brian Leimone, whose technical vision continues to drive the platform.
